Central stringer stairs | Imposing eye-catcher
We construct central stringer stairs as stairs with a central or an external supporting stringer. The supporting stringer is usually made of round tube (steel or stainless steel). However, stringer constructions made of rectangular tubing or as a triangular stringer also ensure an impressive appearance.
Regardless of whether you prefer wood, stone or glass as a step covering - central stringer stairs are an eye-catcher in any combination and are suitable for all linings. A successful contrast is provided by designs in which the strength of the stringer is set off by the lightness of glass. Light-colored woods also form a perfect contrast to the dominant steel stringer.
Central stringer stairs are probably most frequently used for straight floor plans indoors. However, spiral and curved shapes are also suitable for this type of construction. The imposing appearance is given even more expressiveness by a spiral design.

Single stringer stairs - sophisticated design
As the name suggests, the supporting structure of single stringer staircases consists of just one stringer. Due to this design, they always present themselves as an impressive eye-catcher in the middle of living spaces or in modern stairwells. Single stringer staircases blend into any living scene like a sculpture as a design element. This appearance is particularly characterized by a step construction, especially the risers.
Design in glass and steel
Single stringer staircase for modern homes
These modern single-stringer stairs fit perfectly into the home scene. The striking frame construction for the treads impresses with its modern visual design. The treads and handrail made of bamboo form a successful contrast to the dark lacquered stringer and frame construction of the treads.

Modern staircase railing
The perfect craftsmanship of the construction described continues in the design of the railing on both sides with a successful combination of stainless steel, steel and wood for these modern stairs:
For the balusters, the flat steels were milled exactly in the middle to penetrate the filler bars. This CNC-controlled profile processing not only achieves maximum precision, but also allows the posts to be manufactured extremely economically with this high-tech processing. To match the treads, the handrail was made from ground and painted bamboo and attached to the post holders made from flat steel brackets.
The four transverse stainless steel round bars of the railing infill are attached to the posts at the front with grub screws. This type of attachment is visually highly recommended, as no welded joints are required between the posts and the railing chord. This processing method also requires the know-how of high-tech CNC technology (handtmann 5-axis profile processing center PBZ).
