Newel staircase with all-glass railing | Miss Lashes
2020, Horb am Neckar
METALLART has created an extraordinary newel staircase in the new office and logistics building of the European market leader in the field of lash extensions, Miss Lashes, which fascinates with its almost heavenly lightness and timeless beauty.
All-glass railing staircase "like in heaven"
The newel staircase with a box-type outer stringer and an all-glass railing combines functional design with elegance and transparency. Its modern appearance is characterised by the smooth and continuous tubular steel newel with welded steel treads, not only providing stability but also presenting itself exceptionally discreetly in the room.
The glass stringer of the staircase is defined by expansive curved glass panes, which are only supported by the stringer. Inspired by the shape of a wreath of eyelashes, the white trough-type treads of the elegant newel staircase gently enclose the centre column in the lobby.
On the upper floor, an all-glass balustrade in straight and horizontal design continues as ceiling railing.
