Elegance in the villa | Bulgaria

On the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria is the imposing new construction of a free-standing villa. The open and bright design of the self-supporting stringer stairs for the interior reflects the vastness of the sea. Steel treads encased in classic oak in a box construction, which are welded in between the stringers, create a uniform and rounded image with the flat steel inner stringer lined with veneer for fall protection. The stringer stairs for indoors look particularly elegant thanks to the rounded all-glass railings on the outer stringer, which is fitted with a stainless steel handrail.
White glass for special transparency
The glass panes of the all-glass railings of the interior stringer stairs are made of white glass. This has a very low iron oxide content, which is why there is no greenish tint to the glass. This detail gives the steel staircase a very delicate appearance and perfectly matches the flair of the villa. The all-glass railings are picked up by a box-type stringer combined as a ceiling frame and concealing the treads and continued on the upper floor to the right and left of the stair head.
